How far ahead should I get in touch?

The earlier the better, especially for weddings. Share your date in the commission form and Jackie will confirm what's possible. She'll always do her best for urgent requests such as a eulogy.

How much does a commission cost?

Every piece is different, so Jackie quotes each one after a short conversation about length, occasion and timing. You'll know the price before any writing begins.

Can I ask for changes?

Yes. You'll see a draft first and can ask for changes until the words feel right.

Will it sound like me or like Jackie?

Like you. Jackie listens for how you talk and what you care about, so the finished piece feels natural in your own voice.

Can Jackie perform the piece at my event?

For church, community and celebration events, Jackie can perform the piece herself. Mention it in the commission form and she'll let you know her availability.
